It’s not just how you say it.

I used to understand and wholly agree to this statement: “It’s not what you say but how you say it.”

But I have come to realize that there are also people who may speak in a polite, friendly, or sweet tone but just do so to disguise what may otherwise be harsh, demeaning, or demanding words.

What I know now is that when we are trying to communicate with people we still have to consider these TWO things together: the WHAT we are saying and the HOW we are saying it.

 

Doing so leaves less room for confusion and misinterpretation, don’t you think?

 

 

 

Reuse empty Tic Tac

Inspired by 100 Life Hacks That Make Life Easier here’s an effortless way to reuse an empty Tic Tac into a memory card case.

Open the Tic Tac container by slicing the sticker where lid and the case meets. Do this on both sides. Next, clean the inside using a small piece of cloth and a thin object, a ballpen or pair of scissors would do. Voilà, you now have a memory card case!
